Dr. Bushra Ateeq, MCTP Research Fellow, has received a 2009 Young Investigator Award from the Expedition Inspiration Fund for breast cancer research.   The Expedition Inspiration Fund was extablished to generate support for breast cancer research, help fund the Laura Evans Memorial Breast Cancer Symposium, raise public awareness of breast cancer, and also promotes outdoor activities for the health of breast cancer patients.  Dr. Ateeq received the award for her proposal " The Role of Angiotensin Type 1 Receptor (AGTR1) in a Subset of Breast Cancer."
